Joel Comm’s Next Internet Millionaire Jumps The Shark
I’m all for entertainment. I applaud Joel Comm for using the Next Internet Millionaire to take his business to the next level using showman tactics that would make PT Barnum proud.
But who are his two experts?
Joel is counting on you to buy info products ‘created’ by his two finalists: an aspiring actress and a rebel without a clue who makes YouTube videos.
Why should you buy?
Because Joel has lined up a bunch of gurus with big lists to support this venture?
Because these gurus have contributed 5 trillion dollars worth of bonuses?
Will you be persuaded by the value of the bonuses so that you’ll forget that the two contestants aren’t really experts?
On the merits, they would would have been eliminated early if Joel had wanted experienced Internet marketers.
You get to decide…do either present an irresistible offer?

Big Jason Henderson, former Next Internet Millionaire contestant, has weighed in on this episode and come out in favor of Charles Trippy’s launch.
IF you made a decision to get one of the products, that would be my recommendation too.
In fact, I was surprised when Charles wan’t eliminated before Thor because Charles has more Internet marketing experience than Thor. My guess is that Joel Comm was looking to tap the Web 2.0 video experience … something that Thor couldn’t deliver.
As for Jaime and her launch, she should stick to her acting career instead. Maybe if she’s lucky, Joel’s show will be picked up by a network due to the WGA strike and Jaime can be the NIM spokesperson without embarrassing herself further in the Internet marketing arena.
