Perry Belcher Returns?

Last October, Perry Belcher retired from Internet marketing training. You can read about it at Perry Belcher: Checkmate.

Despite a massive Twitter info product launch and Twitter followers allegedly exceeding 100,000, Belcher deleted just about everything as part of his “retirement.” Blog posts and most followers simply disappeared.

Rather than take a covert role working with his partner as the front man, Perry appears to be recreating his public image again.

Here are some handy links to keep track of what Perry Belcher is up to these days.

As I wrote in October 2008, “The post was not an attack on Belcher but rather a warning to all Internet marketers about the type of behavior that draws unwanted attention from the government.”

The same holds true for this post.

Watch what he does and says.

If Perry re-assumes “guru” status or starts speaking from the stage again, you’ll know the retirement is over. Regardless, it will make an excellent case study of the do’s and don’ts of Internet marketing.

  1. Hey Mike,

Just to clear the air, I have NO interest in returning to internet marketing training, social media training etc…

Like everyone else in the world, I do have thoughts from time to time on issues and I have kept my social profiles, that’s it. I zero’d out my Twitter followers and I don’t post anything anywhere about marketing.

I have sold my hotdog and importing courses for years and never removed them even during all my previous court stuff, so there is no “Belcher’s Back” story.

The story is “Belcher is Fine” happy with his private life time with his family.

With the state of this industry right now I am perfectly fine being on the sidelines.

I am amazed so many people are so interested in my return though. I have turned down dozens of speaking and webinar gigs, JV deals etc…and will continue to do so.

Sorry to disappoint all you guys, but I don’t see me returning to your world.

    Best wishes to you Mike.

    Thanks, Perry Belcher
