Title: Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity

Author: David Allen

Reason to Read:

The 2015 edition of Getting Things Done provides a fresh look on Allen’s strategies and tactics you can use in your Internet business and personal life to boost productivity while relieving stress in the process. Because his methods are independent of any particular technology, they will not become obsolete.

Note that this is a substantially revised version of the book, i.e. Allen re-wrote most of it. The 2015 edition is not just minor editing and repackaging of the classic GTD first edition.

Key Quote:

“It’s a waste of time and energy to keep thinking about something you make no progress on. And it only adds to your anxiety about what you should be doing and aren’t.”
