The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (overeducated idiots) wants the federal government to ban advertisements for fatty cheeses during children’s programming.
Starting with easy targets, such as tobacco and alcohol, the health zealots are going after everything that, in their opinion, is unhealthy.
Even if you agree that some of the products they attack are dangerous, understand that who you side with today may be attacking your products or services tomorrow to “protect the children,” “prevent global warming,” or to reduce the levels of dihydrogen monoxide.
