You can find plenty of websites out there that contain good information about Internet scams and ripoffs. And if you’re looking for quick info on someone before doing business, you should take a look at some of these sites for that purpose.
However, there are two things missing from these sites.
First, fairness gets tossed out the window as soon as personalities are thrown into the mix. Instead of examining Internet business practices objectively, disgruntled clients, jealous competitors, and failed entrepreneurs start slinging mud with personal attacks.
The message gets lost in the name-calling. It’s no longer about Internet scams. The targets are individuals and even their families.
Second, the focus is only on the negative. As an Internet lawyer, I certainly believe in the positive power of negative preparation. Life happens. You deal with it. But part of dealing with what life throws at you is finding solutions instead of focusing exclusively on the problems.
To address these issues, I’ve launched Flopportunity.com today to help Internet business owners like you who want to (a) avoid Internet scams while (b) building their companies using best practices. It’s a way to discuss issues that really don’t have a place on the blog at USInternetLawFirm.com.
Flopportunity.com is a work-in-progress and I’m open to your suggestions on how it can be improved.
To your online success!
