As the father of three boys, Internet Business Lawyer Mike Young spends most of his free time these days with his wife (Sara), sons, and two dogs.
Since 1994, Mike has enjoyed protecting business owners online. He’s been active in the North Texas community as an endowed member of two Masonic lodges and Dallas Scottish Rite. Mike also supports Sam’s Night to raise funds for the charity Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.
Like many Texans, Mike’s hobbies include self-defense training. You might spot him at a Krav Maga, kickboxing, or MMA class, practicing Okinawan Kobudo weapons katas, or at a local gun range improving his firearms proficiency.
So, how did Mike become an Internet business attorney?
Mike started programming computers back in 1980. Although he dropped computer science as a major in college, Mike remained active in technology while earning two law degrees (J.D. from SMU and an LL.M. from Georgetown).
At the time Mike passed his first bar exam in 1994, online business was transitioning from commercial Bulletin Board Systems (BBSs) to the World Wide Web (WWW). Before he knew it, Mike had his first Internet client in a cybermall deal.
Since then, Mike has helped protect tens of thousands of online business owners as law firm clients and through his business legal books (including an Amazon best seller).
