It appears that Facebook is taking the position that its Oculus Rift headsets will not include virtual sex apps.
Although that may be the official position for apps downloadable through the Oculus App Store, chances are the virtual reality headsets will be hacked and used by some with apps available elsewhere.
Whether or not it violates Oculus’ terms of service, with money to be made in virtual sex, someone with tech skills will meet market demand by providing virtual porn apps without Facebook’s approval.
Hat tip to Alexei Oreskovic at Business Insider. See Facebook says no sex apps on Oculus, but won’t discuss limits on violence.
