A website privacy policy generator is software that creates a site’s privacy policy for you. The generator is either a desktop application or an online Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that generates website legal protection forms.
The Best Website Privacy Policy
The website privacy policy that will typically provide you with the most legal protection is one prepared by an experienced Internet Lawyer for you as a client.

However, like other legal documents, you should expect to pay reasonable legal fees to get what you need. To get an idea on pricing, check out our firm’s Website Legal Protection Package now.
Avoid Risky Policy Generators
The worst kind of generator software is one that uses unreliable or out-of-date legal forms to create policies. For example, there are shady non-lawyers online trying to make a dishonest buck by selling you garbage they’ve patched together in a document they call a “privacy policy.”
However, they have neither the legal education nor experience to know what should be included (and excluded) from a site’s privacy policy. It’s like having a teenager sell you a car they built from random rusty auto parts they got at a junk yard. Not trustworthy and it can do a lot of damage.

Then there’s the outright thieves. These crooks are non-lawyers who borrow (steal) a privacy policy prepared by a Website attorney and put it in their generator software as a form.
In one case, the attorney (not a member of our law firm) demanded the software customers pay thousands of dollars for using his documents without permission in order to avoid being sued for up to $150,000 per copyright infringement.
